About the role

Based at our Lavington depot, we are seeking a Truck Driver / Heavy Vehicle Driver for full time work performing essential services throughout the region.

As the Side Life Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Providing waste collection services and operating a company vehicle
  • Perform loading and unloading duties of municipal and commercial and industrial waste, material or consignment
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
  • Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

  • Must be available for an early morning start and public holiday shifts
  • An unrestricted HR Licence with a clean driving record
  • Zero Harm Safety mindset
  • Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn different systems and different runs

Waste industry experience is desirable but not essential.
