WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY TO DAY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Interpret site manager set daily requirements, learn and trial job specific construction methodologies and adopt most efficient and approved practices of execution;
• Carry out a range of scheduled carpentry related tasks, as well as alternative labour intensive activities;
• Engage in cooperative work with internal and external staff members under the supervision of team leaders and site managers;
• Assist in carrying out ongoing quality assessments of all engaged onsite work to adopt and master high quality standards and practices;
• Evaluate all on site work conditions and learn how to make sure they comply with the latest OH&S standards and practices;

WHAT SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES DOES THE RIGHT CANDIDATE NEED TO POSSESS?

• Be keen, eager and interested in a career in the field;

• Be able to carry out tasks quickly and efficiently as per the given instructions;
• Be willing to learn and further expand their understanding of the field;

Plus, have moderate experience in the field and be required to possess the following documentation and skill sets:

• A current and valid Driver Licence (Provisional or Full Licences are applicable);
• Industry Safety Induction Card 'White Card' or 'Red Card';
• 2+ years of Carpentry site based experience;

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
