About the role

Available sites include Sheffield, Norwich, or North East Yorkshire.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage costs for infrastructure projects by identifying commercial risks and opportunities
  • Handle various commercial tasks including supply chain management
  • Enhance commercial performance through cost control and value optimization while maintaining quality standards
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer contracts with clients and subcontractors
  • Support the Gated Business Lifecycle process
  • Guide and mentor junior team members
  • Drive your own career progression and pursue professional certifications
  • Oversee commercial aspects of either a large-scale project or a portfolio of smaller projects

Who we're looking for

Qualities/Experience required:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
  • Membership in RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards it)
  • Experience with key contracts such as NEC
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective Teamwork and Role Modeling
  • Leadership abilities
  • Focus on Achieving Results
  • Business and Customer Awareness
  • Alignment with organizational goals & customer needs
  • Capability to identify opportunities & threats
  • Experience with NEC 3 & 4 Contracts
