About the role


The Home Manager will ensure that the Home embodies a strong diversity culture that advances the frontiers of aged living, through innovation and integration of clinical practice with lifestyle pursuits, hospitality and design.

Key Responsibilities

Actively participating in quality conversations, having oversight and ensuring completion of all quality initiatives in a timely manner.

Having oversight of impact on clinical standards across the home from day-to-day reporting.


Ensuring a provision of clinical care that is resident focussed and meets evolving needs of residents and their families while maintaining high clinical and compliance standards.


Maintaining quality systems across all areas within the home to a high standard on an ongoing basis and ensures that monthly audits, reports and analyses of data are completed in a timely manner each month.

Working collaboratively with all clinical staff to ensure the home is compliant with the standards and associated outcomes as mandated by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency at all times

Achieving accreditation status of the home at Site Audits on an ongoing basis.

What you bring

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA - No restrictions.

Previous experience in Aged Care / Health Care will be advantageous.

Ability to build rapport and maintain solid working relationships with identified key relationships.

Ability to demonstrate initiative as well as the ability to work as an effective team member.

Display initiative and look out for continuous improvement opportunities in all tasks.

Current Australian Driver's license.

High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.


Above average knowledge and understanding of the aged care sector with the ability to identify changing trends and to ensure best practice.


An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing with excellent presentation skills.

Clear thinker with lateral problem-solving skills. An ability to convert complex ideas into simple, understandable and workable actions to ensure positive outcomes.


Able to multitask, prioritise, delegate and manage the delegation process to ensure appropriate quality outcomes within expected or non-negotiable timeframes.


Sound operational knowledge of computerised systems used within the industry as well as the ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems introduced into the business from time to time.

Understanding of and ability to manage human resource issues with effective negotiation skills.

Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, etc. and to learn new skills as required.

COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
