We urgently need a Cambridge Exam Preparation teacher, ideally with previous experience in teaching Cambridge B2 First and/ or Cambridge C1 Advanced.

Experience teaching other courses in which academic literacy is a focus would also be beneficial, but we are prepared to offer mentorship if this is your first foray into the world of exam preparation.

Timetable - You will work 20 hours per week from 5:20pm to 9:30pm Monday - Friday.

In addition to your core teaching hours, there are also opportunities to be involved in curriculum development, assessment design and moderation & validation of existing materials.

We can consider flexible employment arrangements if you prefer to be in a co-teaching arrangement, working 2-3 days each.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is goal-oriented, with good organizational skills, a creative approach to teaching, and sound knowledge of pedagogy.

As a minimum, we require a Bachelors degree and appropriate TESOL qualification. All teachers will need to submit original copies of qualifications and attend an interview.

Your new role_

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare and deliver dynamic facetoface classes
  • Provide our students with a supportive and friendly learning environment
  • Complete basic administration tasks such as entering attendance, completing class diaries and attending teacher meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with ASQA requirements in terms of report writing, delivering and grading assessments, etc.
This is a casual position based in Sydney CBD.
