$67,975 p.a. to 73,901 p.a. (Package up to $82,651 p.a. including base salary, employer's contribution to superannuation, and annualized leave loading.)

About the role
Exciting opportunity to join Crown's Solicitor Office in legal space


Legal Secretaries provide secretarial support to three or more solicitors in a specialist legal practice group and undertake a range of administrative tasks to ensure that solicitors are fully supported in delivering legal services to clients.

As an employee of the CSO, you will receive on-the-job training and gain experience in all relevant aspects of legal practice administration.

You will work in a friendly, supportive team environment where you will be mentored by a Senior Legal Secretary and Legal Support Manager to assist and support you in developing your skills and experience.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience providing highlevel secretarial and administrative support in a legal office or professional services environment.

  • Inclusive paid parental leave provisions of up to 16 weeks (14 weeks + 2 bonus weeks) which can be taken flexibly within the first 24 months to support the birth, adoption, altruistic surrogacy, or permanent outofhome care placement of a child
  • Study time up to 4 hours per week
  • Extended Leave of up to 44 days after 10 years or up to 30.8 days after 7 years of service.
