Library Assistant Lawson

This part time role assists in the provision of a courteous, efficient, and effective library service in a branch library.

The role is based at Lawson Library but could be required to work at any branch of Blue Mountains Library service.


The role provides library circulation services, responds to enquiries from customers, assists clients in the use of the library catalogue and library technology, shelving, and collection maintenance, and assists in setting up displays and participates in activities and programs in the library.


You will have:

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with initiative and flexibility

12.75hrs per week
Wednesday 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Thursday 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Saturday 8:30am-12:15pm

Salary:
commencing at $52,885.70 gross per annum pro rata.
