Role Description
Bendigo Health Diabetes Nurse Educators (DNE) provide education and support for people with diabetes as well as their carers.

The DNE is required to be flexible, multi-skilled and able to work with a diverse range of individual, groups, inpatient services and community agencies across the continuum.

The role incorporates activities such as advanced clinical care, coordination of care, self-management support, education of clinical staff and patients, running education and support groups and professional development.

The Team
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services.

We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services.

Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
