Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers.
The Purchase and Settle Crew looks after the digitisation and streamlining of our property and valuations data strategy, complex and exceptions decisioning, fulfilment and settlement processes.

_Do work that matters _
You will report to the Crew Lead, Purchase and Settle, and as a Product Owner (at the Executive Manager level) you will be responsible for setting the strategic vision and roadmap for the product in partnership with business stakeholders and product management to maximise delivery of business value and support benefits realisation.
You will move forward with less-than-perfect information, and quickly pivot to changing work demands, and possess the ability to accurately evaluate complex and ambiguous situations to reach timely, objective and informed decisions.
You will influence others by communicating value with credibility and authority._Key Responsibilities _
- Operating End to End across all Home Buying Domain to drive alignment and articulate what is possible for HB Strategy
- Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.
- Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.
- Attract and develop talent including interviewing, recruitment, hiring, and mentoring of product owners.
- Create a longterm business culture and mode of operation across the Product Owner community and chapter.
- Establish the value proposition for the product in collaboration with stakeholders (Business and Technology).
- Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
- Lead a team of product owners.
- Provide visible people leadership and management.
- Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units (Business and Technology) to manage the delivery of the product roadmap.
- Maintain a well prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
- Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
- Manage the Squad's performance against defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.
- Own and manage pricing, financials, licensing, Return On Investment and/or supplier relationships.
- Release prototypes and iterate a product that meets customer needs and achieves the Crew's goals.
_We're interested in hearing from people who have: _
- Previous product management experience within financial services, specifically in the Home Buying space
- Demonstrated experience in translating product vision to roadmap and backlog
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationshipbuilding skills
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Ability to deliver written and verbal updates to senior executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and strategically problem solve.
- Strong collaboration with teams on work streams/ project activities endtoend and independently manage deliverables.
- Experience working in an agile environment advantageous.
