Some of your responsibilities will include: - Offer technical expertise and guidance for construction and maintenance contracts to ensure effective project outcomes. Evaluate contractors' program of works, work plans, quality, safety, and environmental measures, identifying deficiencies and conducting audits, including traffic guidance schemes. Perform surveillance and audits of contractor works and quality records, ensuring compliance with specified requirements and contractual conditions, including specialized inspections on TMR and Developer works within the State Road Corridor. Maintain comprehensive records, including diaries, test results, and photos, suitable for legal presentation, while providing regular performance updates to the Contract Administrator. Monitor external contractors for Workplace Health and Safety compliance, contribute to project management phases, and liaise with various stakeholders regarding transport infrastructure operations and issues.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions

  • A current Class 'C' Drivers License. Certificate III Civil Construction (or equivalent). Participation in the Roadworks Inspector Career Development Program (RICDP) is mandatory for new appointees.
