The Business Support Coordinator will also look after several custodial business services through procurement, expense and contract management activities, purchasing and coordination of equipment, maintenance and asset control.
The Business Support Coordinator will communicate, consult, and build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to support custodial operations and support a positive work culture to achieve performance excellence.
To be successful in the role, you will be independently motivated with great communication and organisational skills. Experience in Victorian State Government, or similar would be desirable

Set in a picturesque part of Victoria, Cherry Creek is a safe and secure place where young people can work on getting their lives back on track.
We want young people to return home with the confidence that they can thrive in their own communities, so the facility is designed to represent a familiar, real-world environment.
Instead of larger dormitory-style accommodation, young people at Cherry Creek sleep in smaller four-bed and eight-bed units across different neighbourhoods.
Some of Cherry Creek's other design features include:
- Enhanced health, mental health and drug and alcohol support, including a dedicated health centre and two mental health units for young people.
- Purposebuilt buildings to deliver programs and education, a recreational centre, and vocational training campus for tradespecific courses.
- A spiritual and cultural space, for cultural and faithbased programs, including gardens and a yarning circle.
- Energyefficient design throughout the precinct, including the use of many recycled materials.
- Ageappropriate and culturally sensitive accommodation and learning environments.
- Modern and spacious staff facilities with views of the You Yangs mountain range
- Access to onsite parking and staff gym

Important Information
The department is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its employees consistent with the department's obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic).
Therefore, there is a requirement that all DJCS employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to undertake duties outside of their homes.
At interview stage and prior to commencement of employment with the department, you will need to provide evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 with three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Upon commencement of employment with the department you will be required to provide evidence that you have an up-to-date vaccination status within the timelines specified by the department into the DJCS Service Portal.
Acceptable evidence includes:
