Within this successful retail business, you are performing administrative duties working closely with the owner of the business and the Office Manager.

This role also includes a high level of customer service whether it's assisting people over the phone or face to face in a showroom style environment.


Whether you are at the beginning of your administration career or are more experienced but seeking a fantastic place to work that's close to home - this is a great opportunity to join a close knit team.

Please note, this role includes working for a few hours on a Saturday morning each week

Duties include but are not limited to:,

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with general enquiries
  • Assist customers in relation to their orders or information about their accounts
  • Liaise with suppliers in regard to availability of stock or pricing
  • Create quotes, purchase orders, invoice and credits
  • Utilise online ordering system to coordinate deliveries (enter correct information, create delivery dockets and delivery itineraries)
  • Assist with Accounts (payable and receivable) full training can be provided
  • Ad hoc administrative duties including filing
  • Assist on the showroom floor at times
- assist customers with their product selections (generally on a Saturday)

To be considered, you must possess the following:

  • Previous experience in an office ideal, however open to Retail or Hospitality industry where you can use transferable skills and have a genuine desire and capacity to learn
  • You exude customer service and have a warm personality, you love helping people whether that's over the phone or face to face
  • Take pride in your work high level attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry and general knowledge of Excel
  • Strong work ethic and team player attitude
  • Must be happy to work 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12 noon Saturday (41 hour week)
