Australia Retail is undergoing a significant digital transformation, focusing on automation and cost efficiency. One of our major initiatives is the launch of our new Digital Bank ANZPlus.

With close to half a million customers currently on PLUS, the Customer Migration Program is set to expedite the migration of approximately 6 million customers to ANZ Plus.

As the Workstream Delivery Lead – Migration, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to oversee the governance, scheduling, and delivery of complex changes across different areas, including Products, Technology, Servicing, and more.

Your role involves closely coordinating with Stream Leads and other Delivery Leads to devise plans, establish a delivery rhythm, manage interdependencies, and eliminate obstacles to migration.

You will be responsible for promptly flagging any delays, monitoring the critical path, providing reports, and outlining paths to success for senior stakeholders.

While operating within a PMO/Governance framework, your focus will be on delivering outcomes. This will entail working closely with delivery partners to enhance delivery efficiency while ensuring governance and PMO standards are met.

In addition, you will collaborate with peers to bolster program governance, track key milestones, manage risks, and consolidate various streams of the program into a well-coordinated delivery framework.

One of your pivotal tasks will be balancing Agile principles with the structured nature of a long-term program with multifaceted components. You will lead a team of Agile Delivery Leads and assist in planning and integrating their work into an overarching plan.

The role also involves supporting Governance, overseeing resourcing, demand management, and ensuring adherence to ANZ Delivery Framework (ADF) standards.

Role Accountabilities

  • Provide program tracking, investment oversight, and governance support to meet delivery objectives
  • Work closely with other leads to plan, identify risks, and update dependencies
  • Facilitate workshops, update plans, and address deviations proactively
  • Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities in reporting and governance
  • Drive continuous improvement and clear obstacles to progress
