About the role

  • We have a 12 month opportunity for a

Principal - Customer Networks to lead a dedicated project team that will fund and deliver major capacity improvements to the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supply (GAWS) Main Conduit to support state development.

The role entails project and strategic leadership of two work streams - 1) working with government agencies to secure funds for the necessary capital infrastructure; and 2) co-ordinate timely delivery of approvals and early works for that infrastructure to meet the timeframes of commercial proponents. This role will be based in our Leederville office reporting to the Manager Customer Networks Regional.

What the role will offer

  • Lead a dedicated project team and support people development
  • Liaise with external government agencies and consultants to deliver a bestforstate proposal for funding
  • Strategically guide a clear coordinated pathway to environmental and aboriginal heritage approvals across many work packages
  • Scope and specify capital projects and operating work packages to enable service providers to meet relevant asset portfolio investment objectives
  • Lead development of capital and operating programs, business cases and projects with deliverables that mitigate risk

Key skills and experience

  • You'll be degree level qualification in a relevant Engineering, Environmental or Science discipline, with substantial experience in planning, design, acquisition or delivery of asset investment programs. Your demonstrated leadership, ability to collaborate and influence senior external and internal stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
