About the role:
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team at the forefront of South Australia's migration programs? As the Program Lead, Migration Operations, you will manage the Skilled and Business Migration (SBM) Operations Team, ensuring that South Australian businesses gain access to the skills, investment, and export opportunities they need to thrive. Your role will encompass assessing and nominating skilled and business migrants, shaping operational policies, and driving continuous improvement through a quality assurance program. Key Selection Criteria:
To apply and succeed in the role, please address the below criteria in your cover letter:

  • Detailed knowledge of Australia's migration legislation and state policies related to skilled migration, employer sponsored, business and innovation visas, with the ability to interpret and apply complex laws and policies in a dynamic environment.
  • Sound knowledge of international, national, state and regional economic development policies and programs, along with an understanding of national and international trends affecting the state's economy.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and strong computing skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications; ability to analyse data using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels, including establishing credibility and handling conflict and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Extensive experience in interpreting and applying Acts, Regulations, Guidelines and policies for assessing, managing, and auditing complex information.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service to a broad range of clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including providing accurate advice and information.

Remuneration:
Competitive salary (ASO7 $106,512 min - $ 115,137max pa) plus superannuation

Qualifications:
Essential: (if there is any)
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, economics, international relations or related.

Special Conditions:
The role will be offered on an ongoing basis engagement.
