We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 7 and 8 Sports Coordinator (POL2) to join Penola Catholic College commencing as soon as possible until the end of the 2025 school year.

You will be based at the Glenroy Campus.


As the Sports Coordinator you will be responsible for the planning and organisation of the inter and intra College Sports commitments.

You will work in collaboration with the Broadmeadows Sports Coordinator.

Please note an ongoing teaching appointment is attached to the position.

As an enthusiastic Sports Coordinator you will strive to create a sports environment that enables all students to flourish. You will also deliver a collaborative and consistent approach to supporting the diverse needs of our students.

About You:


To be successful you will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students 'learn best' and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks.

You will also have a demonstrated capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation, holding team members to account where necessary.

You must also be registered with VIT.

You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

Penola Catholic College is a co-educational college for students from years 7-12 with two campuses in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.

College campuses are situated in Glenroy, which caters for years 7 and 8, and the senior campus in Broadmeadows that features years 9 to 12 and a total college enrolment of approximately 1,500 students.
