The Mind and Behaviour Clinic (MBC) consists of a strong network of allied health professionals based in Bankstown (NSW). Although MBC functions as its own independent organisation, they often work alongside (Us) Kooki Kommunity (their sister company). MBC work with families on social, developmental, psychological, and behavioural issues across the lifespan from a strength-based perspective.

We help people overcome the challenges they are faced with daily and provide the best allied health experience either in-clinic, at their homes or within their own community.

We work within a trans-disciplinary model, whereby therapists from a range of modalities (behaviour, psychology, occupational therapy, and speech pathology) work as a strong team to assist our clients to the best of our ability.


KOOKI is a support service who aim to help people embrace the things that set them apart from everyone else.

KOOKI's clientele encompasses a range of people that present with varied disabilities and/or diagnoses, and come from a variety of different social, economic, cultural and demographic backgrounds.

We aim to support KOOKI clients in achieving their goals and improve their quality of life.

Many of the clients that will access KOOKI services will also have access to the allied health services from MBC.

We strive to provide supports whilst working alongside MBC to consolidate the skills they are developing during individual therapy (i.e. speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychological supports) and generalising it into the community setting.

This will support our clients in aspects of development including:

  • Communication skills
  • Social skills
  • Play skill
  • Emotional regulation
  • Functional life skills
  • In home supports (home maintenance
  • Activities of daily living
  • Community access
