Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

The aim of this role is to:

  • Develop and embed regulatory professional and technical competency frameworks and learning pathways to equip the QBCC People with education programs to support and drive a high-performance Regulatory culture.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable effective coordination, development, and delivery of learning and development frameworks to contribute to the development of appropriate training programs to meet the needs of the QBCC Regulatory Academy.
  • Take a customercentric and teamwork approach in training solutions, and partner with the Learning and development team for all leadership and critical skills training.
  • Ensure practical competencybased training is tailored to the needs of specific business units by designing for for purpose training materials and programs that reflect QBCC Regulatory Services requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a QBCC Regulatory Academy Training Plans and associated strategies, supporting the development, maintenance and management of training records to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Provide advice and options to senior management regarding training requirements and report on the progress of training initiatives in collaboration with senior management to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and embedding regulatory theory and practice, and/or regulatory professional capability frameworks.
  • Knowledge and experience in technical pathways and instructional design, and develop, deliver and facilitate high quality training programs.
  • Demonstrated skills in research and analysis to support senior level decision making and the development of strategies supporting adult learning.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative engagement and problem solving.
  • High level written and oral communication skills including the ability to develop and conduct face to face/web enabled training and coach technical and regulatory teams.
