Role Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) have a 0.5 FTE / 35 hrs per fortnight ongoing vacancy available from the beginning of March 2024.

The Intensive Care Department

Bendigo Health Intensive Care Unit is a 20-bed level II facility funded to support up to eight 'ICU-equivalent' patients at any time.

More than 1,000 intensive care and high dependency patients receive care in this unit each year.

It is the largest intensive care facility in the Loddon Mallee region, and one of the busiest regional units in Australia and New Zealand.

Bendigo Health ICU is committed to providing the highest standard of care.

Regular audits have shown that the ICU performs comparably with similar sized metropolitan units to meet the needs of the community in the Loddon Mallee region.
