Our wonderful Client is seeking a well-rounded Disability Support Worker to join his team. He has a keen interest in photography, and would benefit from someone who also enjoys the art of photography. He likes staying active and regularly attends the gym. Our Client also has a dog, so being comfortable around animals is a must.

The role will involve assisting our Client with personal care tasks and light domestic duties around his home. He is also looking for someone to support and accompany him to the gym. A valid licence is required for this role. Our Client has requested a male support worker, however all applicants will be reviewed and considered for other Clients.

We are looking for a Disability Support Worker who can assist with the following shifts
:Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 12pm.


The base hourly rate for weekdays between the hours of 6am to 8pm is $31.96/hr plus penalty rates for qualifying shifts. Please note pay rates are set and not negotiable.


You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities _

  • To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
  • Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
  • Provide support to our Clients as required
  • Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
  • Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
  • Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
  • To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be Successful you must _

  • Resonate with the role description above
  • Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
  • Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
  • Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
  • Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
  • Hold a police check or be willing to obtain
  • Have an open driver's licence
