Job Description:

Our Family:

  • My wife and I have three wonderful kids and just recently moved into our brand new home. Our two daughters (6+8) currently attend after school care, but we'd like to find a nanny to care for them x3 nights per week instead. ASC is great but 99% play, so in addition to play we'd like some educational content and help with the small amount of homework they get. Our kids are active, well mannered, humorous and endearingly cheeky. Our youngest is obsessed with gymnastics, her elder sister is very creative and their older bro is sports mad (12 takes care of himself). One of our daughters has a speech disorder so experience / training in this is highly desirable. I run a company so am very busy, my wife works part time and maintains the house so we both have limited free time before dinner and after dinner isn't the optimum time for young kids to study.

Your Duties:

  • Developmental: Reading, writing, arithmetic. Speech / pronunciation practice. Overseeing / help with homework. Prep for weekly class talks. Outdoor activity (walk round the block, go to the park )

Fun stuff:
(examples) Drawing / coloring Lego / Barbie Singing / dancing / gymnastics. Baking / cooking

Our Perfect Caregiver:

  • Looking for somebody reliable, energetic, creative and fun. A teacher, speech pathologist or someone studying towards these kinds of qualifications would be ideal. Having your own car is not essential, but it would be advantageous as duties could then involve school pickup. Likewise speaking another language and teaching the girls some basics is desirable, but not essential.
