Registrar (Anaesthetics)

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Registrar (Anaesthetics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

• Provide anaesthetic care for patients undergoing anaesthetics or sedation
• Participate in the Acute Pain Service
• Provide preoperative assessment of surgical patients
• Follow policies, procedures and instructions relating to work health and safety

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• AHPRA Registration
• The applicant will be required to be (or become) a registered trainee with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA)
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 1
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary

• Temporary full time (12 months, with the possibility of extension)
• Base salary ranging from $ $ per annum
