The Role:
The Senior Associate will be responsible in supporting the C & IB WA origination businesses and to provide origination support, credit analysis, deal execution and portfolio risk management functions on both Institutional Banking and Corporate Banking transactions.
This will span across many different industries including mining services, transport and logistics, retail and large family offices to name just a sample of our client base.
You will also have an opportunity to build on your existing credit/analytical skills and client relationship skills and play a key role in driving superior client outcomes, delivering world class client relationships and executing new lending transactions.
Day to day:
Responsible for managing the ongoing monitoring of the risk profile and compliance requirements of a client portfolio, ensuring portfolio hygiene is a good standard.
Assist in transaction execution through preparing credit submissions, financial modelling, reviewing due diligence and legal documentation, making recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Client & stakeholder management.Provide guidance / coaching to junior team members where required.
Assist in internal reporting requests and ongoing projects within CME.Attend client meetings where required to support business outcomes.
What you'll bring:
Minimum of 2-5+ years Corporate Finance or related experienceWell-developed financial modelling, risk assessment and credit writing skillsBasic understanding of facility documentationCredit writing/presentation skillsFinancial analysis
