About the role:


The Glennie School prides itself on the values that are imparted to students and will require the successful applicant to be supportive of the Anglican Ethos and comply with all state and legislative requirements under the operation of an independent school.


About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications and current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
  • Experience in delivering education content with a commitment to teaching excellence.
  • Have a deep understanding of the Principles of Instruction, High Impact Teaching Strategies and visible thinking routines, and how to implement them in a classroom setting.
  • Ability to differentiate for a diverse group of nonselective students and teach to the strengths of girls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling harmonious and positive relationships.
  • Demonstrate excellence in communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to continue to develop as a teacher.
  • An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work towards the organisation's goals and strategic vision.
  • Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety including mandatory reporting requirements.
