About the role


We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Business Services Team to teach and assess the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and Diploma of Accounting, with a strong focus on providing learners the knowledge, practical skills and experience to pursue professional job roles in financial services and other industries including, BAS agents, bookkeepers, tax agents, accounts payable and accounts receivable officers, payroll services and employees performing a range of accounting tasks for organisations in a range of industries.

The Teacher Accounting & Bookkeeping role is to be based at Warragul Campus for face-to-face classroom delivery on Wednesdays. Flexible Campus base and working arrangements can be accommodated for the online teaching delivery of the role.

About you
You are an experienced and knowledgeable trainer and assessor with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor individuals. You have a demonstrated commitment to quality education and successful student outcomes. You are an exceptional communicator with the ability to engage with a diverse cohort of students. You have a deep understanding of the Financial Services (FNS) Training packing and can interpret and deliver on requirements. You possess high level online learning system skills with an ability to develop and teach engaging online curriculum. You are proactive, confident in your approach and demonstrate a high level of initiative.

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Minimum requirement is Certificate IV Training & Assessment TAE4011
  • A teaching qualification at Diploma level or above would be treated favourably
  • Degree in Commerce, Business or Accounting specialising in Bookkeeping and Accounting preferred and appropriate Industry related experience.

Mandatory requirements

  • Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
  • Current Police Check (no older than 12 months old)
  • A valid COVID19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Current Driver's License (some travel between campuses is a requirement of the role)
