Female Mental Health Support Worker

Due to client preference, we are looking for _Female Mental Health Workers_ to work regular, ongoing shifts and contribute to empowering our participants to achieve their goals.

About You:
You are an exceptional communicator who is enthusiastic, innovative, and positive about making a difference in the lives of people with mental health and disabilities.
- Experience working with complex mental health conditions and high intensity daily personal activities.
- Experience working with participants with drug and alcohol addictions.
- Supporting healthy routines and skill's development.
- Identify and support the physical and emotional needs of participants.
- Manage complex and challenging behaviors and be able to implement BSP strategies when needed.
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities / goals via shift notes.
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
Support Worker must have the following:
- Car and valid Australian driver's license
- Vehicle insurance policy and proof of registration
- Well spoken and written English
Must have NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have completed NDIS Orientation Module
- Must have Cert IV Disability or other relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience working with Mental Health / Complex clients essential.
- Must be able to start immediately.
- Must have a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Must have a current National Police Check
- Must have a current Working With Childrens Check
Please note:
Client has preference for Female support workers.
