Automotive Glazing Technology Apprenticeship

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER
Drake International are on the hunt for an apprentice for their client located in Morley.

Their client is one of Australia's most iconic brands, dedicated to delivering quality and expertise to their customers in glazing, vehicle glass repair, and replacement.


ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Become a fully qualified Automotive Glazing Technician
  • Opportunity to progress in levels and pay increases upon completion of technical milestones
  • Tuesday to Saturday roster, 8am to 4pm.

RESPONSITIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Master chip repairs, windscreen replacements, and recalibrations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a professional presentation.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions.
  • Uphold health, safety, and wellbeing standards.
  • Prioritise customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Work in branch and on site.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • High school certificate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to personal development and success.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Manual driver's license (Essential)
  • Ability to pass medical and drug or alcohol tests. (Essential)
  • Physical capability to lift up to 22kg.
