The core responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Defining the product vision, road-map and growth opportunities for our MyAccount customer platform, to provide customers with more reasons to sign up and sign in to an account when transacting with us.
  • Work closely with the Club Jetstar Product Manager to provide enhancements to our Club Jetstar membership program
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Digital Experience, Ancillary Revenue and Customer Care to create and maintain a product backlog per business value and return on investment
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the projects, and work with a BA to create requirements
  • Plan, prioritise and manage the product feature backlog and development for the products
  • Ensure iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories is of the correct standard whilst maintaining that the team always has an adequate backlog of prepared tasks to work on
  • Assess value, develop cases and opportunity, prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Help lead the product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Follow our competitors and the industry, but most importantly drive innovation & a bestin

To be considered, key skills will include:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Profile Manager, CRM expert or similar role in software development
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Technology, or similar relevant field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience working Scrum
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Excellent attention to detail, influencing skills
  • Relevant tertiary education
