Located only 40 minutes drive from Toowoomba, our client farms 4,000 acres of mixed dryland and irrigated cereal and cotton crops.

The farm is set up on 12 and 36-metre controlled traffic systems and has both flood and lateral move irrigation systems.


Our client has recently upgraded their farm plant and machinery and is now running all John Deere machinery, including 8,000 series tractors and an R4038 Self-Propelled Sprayer with a Weed-it Camera technology onboard.

The fleet also includes Kentworth and Scania Primemovers with grain and cotton module trailers, as our client does their transport, so a truck license would be advantageous but not essential to this role.


Our client has told us, "Find me another me", so we are looking for an experienced Farm Hand who can hit the ground running.

Your role will include all the expected daily tasks for an operation of this size and diversity, depending on the season and business needs.

While the farm owner will be on-site, you will primarily be working alone, with brief check-ins with them to ensure everything is running smoothly.


You will be expected to have the necessary skills and experience to be proactive about your daily duties and also know when to seek clarification from the farm owner on the next steps.

Therefore, you must be able to take personal ownership, accountability, and sound communication and problem-solving skills. Applicants with strong mechanical or fabrication aptitudes or qualifications are encouraged to apply.
