About the company:
Our client is a well-known food manufacturer in the South-Eastern suburbs. They require the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source multiple Pasteuriser Operators to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
These roles have become available due to rapid growth of the company. Shifts run over day and afternoon shifts, and roles are available across both shifts. The morning shift starts at 6 am and the afternoon shift starts at 3 pm.
About the role:
As a Pasteuriser Operator, you will be performing a vital role in the food quality and safety of the products going out to customers. Candidates who show leadership qualities will be put on a fast track to team leading and supervisor roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up and maintain the pasteurising tanks
- Decant products into the tank
- Ensure the smooth operation of the machines
- Filling on the products
- Follow SOPs and documentation to carry out production
- Perform general housekeeping
Full training will be provided.
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role. Ideally from the dairy industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety
- Leadership qualities to step up into a team leader role
