As a seasoned Risk Manager, you will provide advice and deliver risk management and control monitoring services for Enterprise Risk Management and work to strengthen and uplift the Bank's risk management and compliance frameworks.
Experience in business continuity practices including testing is highly desirable although your strong ability to produce high quality analytical reports for senior management and deliver uplifts in risk practices and frameworks will be essential to the success of this position.
As well as this, you will lead, develop, and manage a small team of 3 Risk Advisors to achieve individual goals and deliver team outcomes.
This is an 18-month fixed term position.You will focus on the following:
- Provide advice and deliver risk management and control monitoring services that contribute to the organisation's strategic goals and ensure relevant internal, industry and legal compliance obligations are met for the areas of oversight.
- Manage internal and external relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Ensure operational accountability regarding people management, budget and processes.
- Lead, guide and develop individuals and teams to effectively achieve area outcomes.
- Identify and respond to issues, risks, and opportunities, helping to ensure an appropriate risk and compliance framework is in place.
- Undertake appropriate analysis, with particular emphasis on operational risks.
- Oversee the Incident Reporting process to ensure timely reporting and appropriate analysis for the Risk Management Committee.
- Support and develop our centralised system for risk analysis and management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information is essential.
