We're on the hunt for a Breakfast Announcer to join our highly successful Hit106.9 team in Newcastle.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be one third of the local Hit106.9 breakfast show Nick, Jess and Ducko that engages the local audiences of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley each day.
• Researching and preparing content that is suitable to an under 40 demographic that includes content arcs, interviews and personal content that engages with our fans.
• Be across topics that relate to our audience including pop culture, hit music, trending news and community issues.
• Collaborating with other team members to drive the best content that not only meets strategic objectives but solutions for our clients.
• Attending station events and engaging our audience to grow brand loyalty.

Experience we're looking for:

• At minimum 3 years of prior radio work in announcing or content.
• Someone who connects with an audience.
• Someone who has great rapport with Nick and Ducko and can slot into the show.
• Proactive attitude loves a challenge and not afraid to put themselves out there to connect with an audience.
