UExcel Medical Recruitment are currently seeking Emergency Registrars for multiple roles in a major Brisbane Hospital. 2024 clinical year.

Key Accountabilities

This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities

  • Provide Emergency Medical care under the supervision and direction of senior medical staff
  • Ensure that your patients fulfil the Departmental charter: "best possible outcome for every patient, every time".
  • Ensure appropriate investigation, management and disposition for patients under your care
  • Undertake clinical procedures necessary for the care of your patients within the scope of your experience and
training

  • Ensure comprehensive, accurate and concise clinical documentation for patients under your care
  • Ensure high level verbal and/or written communication with all parties relevant to the provision of care for your
patients, including clinicians, clerical staff, and family members

  • Participate in oncall rostering as directed by the Director of the ED
  • Participate in all relevant scheduled education sessions
  • Participate in relevant departmental research, audit and quality activities.

About you
To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Recent experience in Emergency Medicine
  • Junior Registrars (HMO3 +) will be considered
  • ACEM Trainee desirable
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Strong commitment to high quality patient care
  • General registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Or eligible via competent authority pathway. Provisional or limited registration considered if level 2 supervision and above.
