Based in the Fleurieu Peninsula, this opportunity will see you working 17 hours a week across Monday-Saturday gaining practical experience, whilst receiving paid study to obtain a nationally recognised
Certificate III in Business within the
Medical Stream.

As a Medical Receptionist Trainee, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks, providing end-to-end service to all customers, and assisting the small-knit team with administration support.

This position is ideal for someone seeking a long-term office career within the medical field.

Duties Include:

• Meet and greet patients
• Answer all incoming calls; take messages and redirect calls as required
• Schedule patient appointments
• Prepare documents and general administration (printing, scanning, filing)
• Collect and process payments
• General cleaning duties

• Ability to prioritise tasks whilst working under pressure
• High attention to detail
• Can work effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
• Showcases a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative

Role Requirements:

• Ability to work a variety of shifts across Monday-Saturday
• Driver's licence and access to reliable transport
• Flu and COVID19 vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
• Strong computer knowledge
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
