The Role
As a Solution Designer, you will help us design and engineer new scalable and resilient services for the Lending program.
You will ensure that throughout the project lifecycle, the solution is aligned with the Solution Architecture and bring a mix of technical & business engagement to our team as we look to transform our Lending Platform.
In addition to your strong technical capability, demonstration of ownership, and accountability, you will be a proven team player, and independent thinker and have a collaborative attitude toward your work and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop highlevel design, functional design, and detailed system design across a range of projects and various technologies, in line with business requirements.
- Wholly responsible for leading and driving the definition of the endtoend solution design for the "Technology Solution" in a project/program, in a way that complies with the Solution Architecture.
- Producing detailed component specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation.
- Developing proofsofconcept to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Designing data assets and ensuring they meet the needs of customers and the business.
- Liaising with data users across the business to understand their data needs.
- Contribute to the design, development, and governance of the core APIs that are exposed on our internal and client gateways.
- Responsible for ensuring the solution design will deliver against project/program requirements and document the solution.
- Identifying issues and presenting alternatives to alleviate or resolve problems.
- Assisting Tech Leads with the Design Implementation.
Experience and skills:
- Should have 7+ years of experience in solution design with complex integrations.
- Must have experience in Java spring boot, Frontend react / BFF integration architecture & DB: PostgreSQL/ No SQL.
- Experience in defining API swagger.
- Experience in Security authentication patterns. Expertise in Aws cloud, and Kong integrations.
- Performance Testing experience is good to have.
- Must have good communication and stakeholder management skills.
