Cleaner - Recreation Centre

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for cleaning team members to work with a large sports precinct facility that hosts activities, events and conferences for sports organisations, sports teams, community, and school groups, located in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast QLD.

If you enjoy working in a team environment, interacting with different visitors and offering a high level of customer service whilst ensuring safe and operational surrounds, this role is for you

Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Perform cleaning of venue facilities
• Preparing facilities for client use - set up and pack down
• Completing daily inspections of facilities to ensure they are ready for use, escalating issues where applicable
• Handling/disposal of various types of waste
• General venue operations support.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role (sporting, tourism and hospitality industries)
• Positive Blue card - can be obtained prior to commencing
• Current first aid and CPR certificate - can be obtained prior to commencing
• Availability to work shifts ranging between 6am - 8pm Monday to Friday, however weekend work may also be required depending on event and site requirements.
