Depot Supervisor at
Kinetic, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring
optimal performance of our bus services.

With direct accountability for a dedicated team of drivers, you'll lead the charge in cultivating a
customer-centric culture while maximizing
business performance and
profitability at our
New Norfolk Depot.


You'll be involved in:

  • Driving duties to facilitate service delivery with a strong customer focus
  • Management of resources including allocating resources, managing headcount, planned leave, absenteeism and day to day employee availability to deliver business operations.
  • Ensuring all work allocated to employees complies with National Fatigue guidelines and meets all regulations and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Manage as needed, any planned variations to employee's rosters/timesheets and associated data entry or pay query processes to ensure payroll is correctly processed on a weekly basis.
  • Drive customer service, actively cultivating a customer focused culture and manage customer needs.
  • Constantly engage with staff to seek feedback and create a highly engaged workforce.
  • Work collaboratively with depot team to ensure that workplace and industrial relations are managed effectively.
  • Ensure that all drivers have the appropriate tools, processes and resources in place to ensure safe, efficient, compliant and costeffective service delivery within their depots.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and developing and maintaining key relationships (internal and external).
  • Ensure a high standard of depot presentation and ensure compliance with technical and planned maintenance schedules and Australian standard across depot assets.
  • Ensure defect reporting and pretrip inspection processes are followed and put procedures in place to improve performance in this area.
  • Regularly audit depot/s to ensure standards are being achieved and work with depot service delivery team to improve performance gaps and identify ways to improve standards, including auditing and contractor compliance

  • Demonstrated experience in building high performing teams
  • Highlevel knowledge of operational systems and logistics functions.
  • High level of initiative and demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in making quick decisions
  • Selfmotivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to daytoday business operations and positive approach to a continual changing work environment.
  • HR licence preferred or willingness to obtain as driving buses is required.
  • A valid State Driving Authority and Working with Children's Check.
  • Current Nationally recognised First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Internal systems.
