What you'll do

We are seeking a Safety & Risk Engineer to join our team in Perth.

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Conducting safety studies for various project phases, such as Fire Safety Studies, Escape and Muster Studies, QRAs, safety case assessments, and more, to support risk mitigation.
  • Providing safety & risk engineering services that adhere to relevant statutory requirements, delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Participating in workshop facilitation including HAZOPs, HAZIDs, and LOPA.
  • Preparing technical reports and assisting in communicating technical matters to clients.

What you'll have

  • Significant experience in Safety & Risk management.
  • Background in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Chemical sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Being abreast of the latest advancements in safety & risk engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of safety & risk engineering and its intersections with other engineering domains.
  • Familiarity with relevant local and international standards and statutory regulations.
  • A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
