ROLE OVERVIEW:


The Smart Home Consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing our property development projects by integrating cutting-edge smart home technologies.

This position requires a passion for technology, a keen eye for design, and the ability to combine functionality with aesthetics seamlessly.

The consultant will be responsible for recommending and implementing advanced smart home features, including security systems, intelligent lighting, climate control, and immersive entertainment solutions tailored to each client's lifestyle and design preferences.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct consultations with clients to understand their smart home needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements.
  • Develop customised smart home solutions that integrate seamlessly with the client's design and functional aspirations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in smart home technology to provide clients with stateoftheart solutions.
  • Work closely with the design and construction teams to ensure smart home features are integrated smoothly into the building process.
  • Provide clients with detailed information and demonstrations on the functionality and benefits of smart home systems.
  • Assist clients with postinstallation support, ensuring they can fully utilise and enjoy their smart home features.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors and partners to source the best products and solutions for each project.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in electronics, information technology, or related field.
  • 23 years of proven experience as a Smart Home Consultant, Home Automation Specialist, or similar role, with a portfolio of successful smart home projects.
  • Indepth knowledge of current smart home technologies, including security, lighting, climate control, and entertainment systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a flair for creative and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage projects from conception to completion.
  • A passion for technology and continuous learning to stay ahead of industry trends.
