Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial aspects of NDIS plans, including tracking expenses and preparing reports
  • Managing the NDIS claims and disbursing funds to providers for delivered services promptly.
  • Working collaboratively with NDIS participants, their families and support networks, and service providers to develop and implement personcentered plans
  • Provide advice and support to NDIS participants on their NDIS plans, budgets, and related issues
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records and reports, in accordance with NDIS standards and regulations
  • Upholding participant rights as consumers and enabling a participant to exercise greater choice and control over the supports and services they engage.
  • Undertaking robust procedural reviews and demonstrating an ability to be a decisive decision maker.
  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a confidential and professional manner, and in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and other relevant legislation

Important to your success:

  • Experience in managing a portfolio of NDIS plan management and/or disability sector within service level agreements.
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively to manage Participants budgets and goal setting.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS, its principles and its processes, pricing structure, invoicing and necessary supports for participants/representatives.
  • Ability to learn how to set up Plan Management services in partnered IT solutions
  • Experience in working with people with disabilities and their families
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customerfocused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Accounting/Financial planning and budgeting experience (desirable)
Salary is negotiable and is commensurate with experience. Great salary sacrificing options are also available.

This role is based in Ulladulla.
