Android Tech Lead to lead our

Mobile Managed Service Android Team with full working rights in Australia to be part of something amazing

What you'll do?:

  • Support multiple apps concurrently, used by millions of consumers.
  • Contribute to projects for companies like UniSuper,PTV, Citibank and YarraTrams.
  • Work in an agile team who focus on software engineering best practices.
  • Support and mentor more junior members of our team.
  • Work collaboratively within a closeknit crossfunctional team.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that can improve the development process and enhance the user experience.

What you'll be familiar with?:

  • Working on a number of projects at the same time
  • Estimating and architecting solutions and fixes within large scale enterprise projects
  • Objectoriented & functional programming
  • Architecture and design patterns such as MVVM and MVP
  • Experience working in an agile environment, reviewing code, and setting the teams' way of working
  • Java / Kotlin experience
  • Writing unit tests and E2E tests (BDD, TDD)
  • Experience in creating accessible apps (preferable)
  • Be up to date with the latest Android technologies and trends and share knowledge with the team

Nice to have:

  • Dependency Injection frameworks such as Dagger 2 or Hilt
  • Accessibility frameworks like Android Screen Reader, Android Voiceover, Font size or similar
  • Reactive programming (Flow)
  • Declarative UI (Jetpack Compose)
  • Flutter experience
