We are seeking a technically minded solutions focused External Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at our Dandenong South manufacturing facility. With Sales and Operations under the same roof we are in the best position to be able to meet our customers' needs.
Experience in belting would be beneficial. However, if you have worked in technical sales, as a mechanical technician or maintenance engineer, we would love to hear from you. Our only "must have" is that you have gained your experience in an "industrial business" either in manufacturing, servicing, repairs or maintenance of industrial equipment.
You will be responsible for:
Generating leads. Meeting or exceeding sales goals. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Negotiating all sales transactions with prospective and current customers base. Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations. Preparing weekly and monthly reports – Salesforce. Preparing quotes and answering customer queries. Understanding and promoting company programs. Obtaining deposits or full payments for cash sale transactions. Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders. Visiting customers and potential customers. Assess local and regional business opportunities. Actively maintain industry and market competitor knowledge. Network via key associations and events.You possess the following competencies:
Ability to build strong customer relationships and networks Have effective communication skills (verbal, written) Exhibit a professional demeanor Are customer focused and flexible to customer needs Work well as part of a team and have effective collaboration skills Ability to set your own priorities and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and interdependently with other departments Possess financial acumen and understand how your activities relate to both individual and company KPIs and targets Are adaptable and can apply sound business judgement in ambiguous situations Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce) and entering all relevant data Ability to generate presentation materials and reports as requiredWe offer:
