The company:


Our client is an industry retail leader and ASX listed company with hundreds of stores across Australia and New Zealand.

Due to their constant acquisition of new business and rapid growth in the market, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to deliver exceptional service and data integrity for their suppliers in a shared service environment.


The role:

  • 3way matching against purchase orders and liaise with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly/monthly EFT payment runs in accordance with cash flow budget and policies
  • Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
  • Batching, coding & inputting of a high volume of invoices into ERP system
  • Manage the Accounts Payable inbox, organising a high volume of supplier queries and providing exceptional service/resolutions
  • Handling the accounts payable inbox responding to internal and external enquiries
  • General accounts administrative duties including filing, documentation management etc. and supporting the team

Skills and experience:

  • Accounts Payable/Procurement experience within a fastpaced environment
  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • Exposure to overseas payments is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Excellent time management skills in a fastpaced environment, ability to meet cutoffs/deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
