The Senior Planner is a crucial team member in Material Planning at the Dwyer Omega team.

The Senior Planner collaborates with their team to achieve Dwyer Omega's goals and deliverables, such as reaching a 90% on-time delivery, meeting 95% customer lead time expectations, and fulfilling working capital objectives.

React promptly to any disruptions in the supply chain and constraints in production capacity by updating lead times realistically to ensure timely fulfillment of new orders.

Manage inventory levels to enhance working capital while satisfying customer demands.
Maintain the accuracy of data within an MRP system from a planning perspective.
The responsibilities encompass the following:
Additional tasks may be assigned.
Evaluate, decide, and uphold correct safety stock levels for both Manufacturing and White label products.
Control precise lead times in the ERP system to synchronize with inventory availability and production capacity.
Establish appropriate Kanban inventory levels in work cells.
Participate efficiently in Supply- S&OP sessions.
Collaborate with Product Management to set customer lead time expectations and suitable service levels.
Drive informed decision-making through data analysis and carry out necessary data reporting.
Assist planning leaders in meeting working capital objectives and executing global inventory optimization.
Engage with customer-oriented and manufacturing teams to implement actions to achieve company targets.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in planning & inventory control.

Proficiency in an ERP/MRP system in a manufacturing and/or E-Commerce setting.
Experience with Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement tools is highly preferred.
Preferred APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP).

Essential/Preferred Skills:
Outstanding analytical skills.
Initiative-driven and capable of excelling in a dynamic environment.
Extensive ERP / MRP experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Suite (including Excel, Office, Powerpoint).
Familiarity with analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau). Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational abilities.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee may need to sit for extended periods to operate a computer and keyboard.
