We're Green Wind Renewables – a Western Australia based renewable energy developer with a focus on large-scale wind energy projects to accelerate the state's transition to net zero emissions.

In collaboration with Aula Energy, a new onshore renewable energy business under Macquarie Asset Management, we're working on a portfolio of large-scale onshore wind farms totaling up to 2.4GW in Western Australia, connected to the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS). We are a growing team on the lookout for top talents to assist in developing and delivering these ambitious renewable energy projects for the state and its major electricity consumers.

About the Opportunity
You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team, working together to bring large-scale wind energy projects to life in the SWIS.

  • Supporting the development of corporate and wind farm project business cases, budgets, and strategy.
  • Managing corporate and project-level cash flow and preparing reports.
  • Creating and maintaining financial forecasting and cash flow models following best practices.
  • Utilizing data effectively to offer financial insights and recommendations for key decision-making.

Working with our accounting services provider to:
Oversee and assist with financial accounting, tax, and reporting requirements.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations as per wind farm project agreements.
  • Engaging with project partners, service providers, and other external stakeholders on relevant issues.

About You
Green Wind Renewables is searching for a motivated team player with a positive attitude to join our growing team.

While prior experience in the energy sector is not mandatory, if you possess the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we would love to hear from you:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, ideally with CA or CPA qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in roles such as Accountant, Senior Accountant, Financial Analyst, or Business Analyst.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining detailed financial forecasting and budgeting models using MS Excel.
Experience with Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
