Registrar - Gastroenterology - Hepatology Please note this is for the 2025 Hepatology Clinical Research Registrar Intake with an appointment at Registrar or Senior Registrar (with FRACP) depending on years of experience as a Trainee Registrar in Gastroenterology This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 03/12/2024.

Position Profile:
We are seeking to appoint a Hepatology registrar to our Gastroenterology Department at Royal Perth Hospital.

In this role you will have the opportunity of focusing further training in the management of patients with complex liver disease.


In addition you will be:
Performing liver clinics 3/week Trial clinic 2/week Co-ordinating the HCC MDT and outcomes.

You will be required to promote high quality patient centred care to inpatients and outpatients of the Gastroenterology Service, under the supervision of consultants and within a multi-disciplinary team to review the medical needs of the patients.

You will assist with teaching and support to Resident Medical Officers and Interns.
*Please note, this position is not suitable as an avenue for 'top up' training or for overseas trainees or specialists.
This position is designed for candidates who want to do a in Hepatology Fellowship.
