About the Role


We are seeking a Nipper/Offsider assisting operators to ensure operational targets are met in a safe and efficient manner at Edna May - Underground Gold Mine Operations in the Gold Fields.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

This will be a 3 month contract (possible extension) working a 2 weeks on and 1 week off roster. Drive in Drive out from Perth. Transport provided. $35.40 per hour.

  • Safely execute mine service duties as tasked by the Shift Supervisor
  • Preform Prestart light vehicle checks
  • Assist Jumbo Operators in delivery of equipment i.e. split sets, mesh, steels and anything required for operation.
  • Position mesh for Jumbo to install
  • Help Jumbo Operator maintain equipment in a safe manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor in line with the weekly and daily schedule.

To be considered you would have current experience

  • Working Safely at Heights certificate
  • Valid Driver's Licence (Manual)
  • Applied First Aid certificate
  • National Police Clearance issued within the last 4 months
