  • Booking appointments
  • Checking and uploading referrals
  • Liaising with other practices and hospitals
  • Invoicing and receipting payments
  • Effective communication of patient questions to consultants
  • Corresponding with GPs and specialists
  • Coordinating research and collating clinical trial data
  • Accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Personal Assistant support when required
To be successful you will have the following skills/attributes:

  • Previous Medical Receptionist experience in healthcare
  • Experience with medical record systems, preferably Genie Solutions
  • Sound communication skills, with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, patients and other health care professionals
  • Professional and compassionate approach to patient care
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workflow effectively
  • Enjoy working within a team, as well as independently
