Cremation Operator who can perform, coordinate and deliver throught the full process of this role.

General maintenance and a variety of labour focused dutoes will also be required.

They are the industry leader in operating funeral homes, cemeteries and crematoria across 3 countries.

About the role:

  • Your new role is critical in the process of cremation. You will be trained and given the opportunity to become licensed to perform this function.
  • Coordination of the delivery of ashes and ensuring ashes are prepared for handling with the correct paperwork
  • You will also be required to complete grounds maintenance work such as mowing, snipping, placing memorials when required
  • The usage, maintenance and upkeep of the cremator equipment

About you:

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to maintain a high standard of presentation
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of manual labour tasks, indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • The physical strength to perform heavy lifting, and general maintenance duties for extended periods of time.
  • Will need to be people focused with the ability to communicate with guests and the general public
  • An ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties to set standards and procedures.
  • Experience using tools, machinery and equipment to undertake and maintain cremation services.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy and sensitivity to grieving people and their guests
  • Comfortable and at ease with working in a crematorium environment.
  • A current unrestricted Driver's License
