Are you looking for a new job in the North Perth region? Our client is seeking for a motivated Speech Pathologist to join their expanding team of allied health practitioners.

You will deal with families and kids, particularly those who have been diagnosed with autism, offering general services related to your profession.

Assessing and helping patients who have difficulty speaking or eating so they may achieve and maintain the maximum degree of independence and quality of life will be your key duties.

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Registration with Speech Pathology of Australia
• Prior experience in the relevant field
• Demonstrated history of positive interaction with children with special needs or complex challenges in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and use of neurodiversity affirmative practices.
• Experience delivering services under the NDIS is an additional advantage
• Experience working with early intervention, children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and GDD, is highly regarded.
• Working with Children and NDIS Workers Clearance checks.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualification.

Anxiety, sensory processing, and learning challenges are other factors. The ideal applicant must be knowledgeable in these areas. They are open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
